Alice Through The Looking Glass
I was lucky enough to get my hands on this gorgeous palette, the colours look beautifulllllllll!!! There are a mixture of matte and shimmery colours, they are lovely and pigmented, and the packaging is just gorgeous. Each column represents a character from the film; Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mirana, Iracebeth and Time.
The guy at the counter actually did a mad hatter look on me, and I loved the eye makeup, the colours were gorgeous!!! They blended beautifully!!! However, I absolutely hated that base he made, my skin looked dull.
So I had a go at using this, and I found that some colours are more pigmeneted than others, which is super annoying. You can see from the swatches I've done. Also when I did the swatches, I did put a primer on my arm, and I used a dry eyeshadow brush, and tried to only swipe under 5 times per colour. Literally some colours did not show up on my arm at all! Might be because of my skin tone, but I think it is because they are not pigmented enough.
Overall, I love the colour selection, and some of the colours apply beautifully and easily, but the consistency in the pigment is a massive let down. Really didn't expect this to happen with this product. I even tried using mac fixing spray on the brush to try and intensify the colour, it didn't work. I don't think it is worth the price of £43.
